Volunteer Orientations are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 7 a.m at the Ranch.  No appointment is necessary and beginners are welcome!  Orientation generally lasts 60-90 minutes.

Learn what we do at the Luv Shack, hear about rescues, our Kids Care program and upcoming events.  You’ll be introduced to herd dynamics.  We will feed the horses, goats and chickens, scoop the arena and stalls, providing some aromatherapy, and finish  orientation by grooming the horses.

All are welcome.  We do ask that an adult accompany any child 10 or under.  If you are bringing a child or children who are not yours, please bring a waiver for each child, signed by his/her parent or guardian, or the child will not be able to participate.  (Waivers are located under forms.)

Jeans, hat, water bottle and sunscreen are all recommended for participation.  Closed-toed shoes are required.

We are a 100% volunteer-run horse rescue.  Your time and talents are always appreciated.
