Phoenix Woman Magazine Model Search & Photo Shoot

Q: Are men allowed to participate in the Photo Shoot?

A: Absolutely! All registries 21 and older are welcome to participate!

Q: Why is there an age requirement to participate in the Photo Shoot?

A: Registries under the age of 21 may participate in the Photo Shoot and Model Search, however will not be able to attend the Black Tie Award Ceremony. All registries under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Photo I.d.s will be checked at the door.

Q: How much of my Purchases are Tax Deductable?

A: All Registrations, Ticket Sales, Silent Auction and Raffle Donations will be processed through the Luv Shack Ranch Horse Rescue. Funds will be deposited in a Special Events Account from which operating expenses and donations will be paid. A minimum of 10% of your Registration and 100% of your Awards Reception Ticket, Silent Auction and Raffle purchases will be donated to the Luv Shack Ranch Rescue. Tax Deductable Donation Receipts will be available by request at each event.

Q: I changed my mind. Can I get a refund?

A: All Registration and Ticket purchases are final. No refunds. No partial refunds.

Q: Will I need to sign a Talent Release?

A:  Yes. Upon registration, Registree will grant to Phoenix Woman Magazine, The Luv Shack Ranch Horse Rescue, Get Image Ready and all Event Sponsors, Affiliates and Beneficiaries a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to broadcast, exhibit, display, edit, modify, adapt, translate, exhibit, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer of, reproduce, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, display, and otherwise use photo, images and video of the Registree.

Q: May I pay my Registration Fee and purchase my Reception Tickets by check?

A: We are happy to accept a check but cannot guarantee a spot at specific events and times until payment is received. Please send a check made out to the Luv Shack Ranch Rescue 36029 N. 10th Street, Phoenix AZ 85086. Please include your name, an email and a phone number so we can contact you and confirm your registration and ticket purchase.

Q: May I pay cash at the door?

A: While you are welcome to pay at the door, events have limited space and pre-payment is the only way for us to guarantee you a spot.

Q: How long will it be before my registration is confirmed and my tickets are shipped?

A: No actual ticket is shipped. You will receive an email verifying your registration & ticket purchase.

Q: I didn't receive a confirmation email or accidentally deleted it. Do I need it to attend?

A: If you typed in your email correctly, you should receive a confirmation email. Please check your junk or spam email folder. Although we do not require you bring confirmation at time of check-in, we strongly recommend it.

Q: Is it necessary to attend the Black Tie Award Reception Event to Win?

Your participation is not necessary to win. However we hope that you will join us! Award Receptions are open house style and include finger foods, raffles & special evening incentives. Entertainment will vary by location but all will include Commemorative Event Slideshow, Finalist Photo Display for People’s Choice Awards & “Get Image Ready’s Next Face & Next Photographer” Winner Announcement, meet-and-greet with Magazine Publisher, Editor, Local media, Talent scouts, Sponsors, Potential New Clients, and the Luv Shack Ranch Horse Rescue team.

Q: Will there be food and beverage available for purchase the day of Photo Shoot?

A: Yes. Food may be ordered from a pre-set menu in the morning on a cash basis and orders will be delivered in time for lunch. Bottled water will be generously provided by our sponsors.

Q: Is parking nearby?

A: Parking instructions will be posted in the event resources menu 1 week prior to the Photo Shoot event.

Q: May I bring a guest to the Photo Shoot who hasn't Registered?

A: We allow registries to bring one guest for a donation to The Luv Shack. Guest can accompany but not participate in any of the services or photo shoots.

Q: What if I do not attend the Awards Reception? How will I receive my CD of photos?

A: An alternative date has been scheduled on the following day after each Awards Reception event to pick up CDs and VIP Gift Bags at the Luv Shack Ranch Horse Rescue. If you cannot make either, please contact us and we will notify the Luv Shack Ranch Horse Rescue team to contact you to make other arrangements.

Q: Will there be items for purchase at the events?

A: Have you seen the Luv Shack T-shirts? They are darling and yes, you can buy their T-shirts along with other Luv Shack items. Sponsors will also have fabulous items available for purchases.

Q: Will there be a raffle and silent auction at the Photo shoot and Awards Reception events?

A: Absolutely! We have collected some fabulous items. Proceeds from raffles go directly to Luv Shack Ranch Horse Rescue so we hope you Share the Luv!

Q: Do I have to be present to win a raffle prize?

A: No. Just write your phone and/or email on raffle ticket or silent auction sheet CLEARLY and the Luv Shack Ranch Horse Rescue will contact you if you win. Prizes must be claimed within 30 days.

Q: Do I need to tip on my hair, make-up or brow touch-up services?

A: Not required however absolutely appreciated!
